The problem we are hired to solve

The common starting point

"We bought AI. Now what?"

The failure mode is rarely the technology. It is a portfolio of disconnected pilots, each defensible on its own, that never compounds into a capability. Four patterns show up in almost every assessment we run.

Enterprise AI adoption challenges and stalled AI pilots

Most enterprises have no shortage of AI ideas. What they lack is an order of operations.

The picture is usually the same. An assistant in one business unit, a copilot in another, a pilot that impressed everyone in the demo and has not moved since, and ServiceNow AI capabilities bought at the last renewal that nobody has switched on. Each decision was reasonable on its own, but separately they never add up to a strategy, and the longer the portfolio grows sideways the more expensive it becomes to pull together.

Here’s what gets in the way:

Pilots That Never Became a Platform
Each one was bought by a different team, on different data, with a different owner. They all work on their own terms, and none of them scales without being rebuilt.
Capabilities Paid For and Never Switched On
AI, data connectivity and governance now ship inside the ServiceNow subscription, and new tools get procured alongside them while the entitlement sits dormant.
A Foundation Nobody Funded
Data ownership, integration, knowledge quality and the access model are the dependencies every use case shares, and they are the first things cut to make a pilot look inexpensive. That is why the second wave stalls.
No One Who Can Say Yes
Nobody owns the call on which use cases proceed, who is accountable for model behavior, or which budget line pays for any of it next year. Momentum dies in governance far more often than it dies in engineering.

ServiceNow replaced its legacy packages with three AI-native tiers, Foundation, Advanced and Prime, and folded AI, data connectivity, workflow execution, security and governance into every offering rather than selling them separately. The AI is already inside your subscription and its usage is already metered, so the open question is whether you are using it deliberately.

AI Strategy to Execution: enterprise AI strategy workshops and blueprint

Workshops that produce a blueprint your teams can build against.

This is deep, facilitated work with the people who actually decide, including the executive sponsor, platform ownership, data, security and the business owners of the journeys under consideration. We establish an honest baseline of where you stand today, design the target state across the platform, data, integration and AI layers, and sequence the portfolio into waves that can be funded. We then stay on as design authority while those waves are delivered, because strategy work that ends at the deck is where most of the value leaks away.

Six dimensions, worked in parallel, because a decision in one constrains the others:

Ambition and Outcomes

Leadership states plainly what AI is meant to change in the business and how success will be judged, and that statement becomes the filter every later decision passes through.

Icon-Insights

Entitlement and Estate Review

We inventory what AI you have deployed, piloted, shelved or quietly run in shadow, establish what it costs today, and map what your ServiceNow tier already entitles you to activate before anything new is purchased.

Icon-ERP Integration

Data and AI Readiness

Sources of truth, CMDB and knowledge quality, catalog and forms, integration coverage, the access model and the areas the AI may never touch are all scored, with the gaps named and owned.

Icon-End-to-End support

Solution Architecture

We define how the platform, data, integration and AI layers fit together, showing where models sit, where orchestration happens, where the system of record stays authoritative, and where each product already in your estate belongs.

Icon-Ecosystem

Governance and Operating Model

We settle who approves a use case, who owns model behavior and what gets monitored, alongside the intake process, roles and funding line that keep the program alive after go‑live.

Icon-Finance and Procurement

Roadmap and Investment Case

Every candidate use case is scored on value, readiness, dependency and risk, then arranged into waves with a defensible number on both the cost to deliver and the value expected.

AI strategy engagement model: Orient, Chart and Expand

Every engagement runs Orient, Chart, then Expand.

One engagement runs in three stages, and each stage stands alone and ends with an artifact you keep, so you can stop, fund and restart between them.

ORIENT | AI Strategy & Readiness Assessment

A structured read on where you stand today, covering your ambition, your current AI estate, your entitlements and where the value most plausibly sits. You keep that read whether or not you go on to buy the build.

CHART | Architecture & Roadmap Blueprint.

The in-depth work, covering readiness scoring, entitlement mapping, an opportunity scan across IT, employee service, customer, risk and back office, target architecture, workflow design for the priority journeys, governance and portfolio sequencing.

EXPAND | Roadmap Execution & Architecture Ownership

The roadmap gets delivered. We mobilize the first wave, hold architecture ownership across every workstream, schedule the foundation work first, and set the patterns and review gates that keep parallel tracks coherent as they run.

ServiceNow AI entitlements, Now Assist licensing and consumption review

ServiceNow’s native AI sits inside your subscription.

Since April 2026 every ServiceNow product tier, from Foundation through Advanced to Prime, includes AI, data connectivity, security and governance rather than offering them as separate purchases. A meaningful part of the blueprint is simply establishing which of these capabilities you are entitled to today, which are already installed and sitting idle, and which genuinely require a tier change to reach.

Now Assist

Generative AI skills embedded across ITSM, CSM, HR and industry solutions, covering summarization, sentiment, reply and resolution assistance, and available at every tier.

AI Agents and Agent Studio

Out-of-the-box agents can be configured at Foundation and Advanced, while net-new agents and autonomous AI specialists sit at Prime.

AI Control Tower

Embedded at every tier for AI inventory, lifecycle governance and visibility. A subset auto-installs alongside Now Assist, and most customers have never opened it.

Context Engine and Data Fabric

The enterprise context and data connectivity layer that grounds agent decisions, now included by default rather than assembled separately.

Consumption is the other half of that conversation. Now Assist usage is metered in assists drawn from a tenant-level pool, and the heaviest draw usually comes from background automation rather than people typing prompts, including virtual agent fallback, workspace summarization, custom skills and sub-production testing. We baseline that consumption during the blueprint so the roadmap is costed honestly from the start.

CoreX AI Horizon AI consulting and implementation offerings

The offering sits above the products, and comes before them.

CoreX AI Horizon has five offerings, each named for the outcome it delivers rather than the product beneath it. Three of them are product-specific builds, and AI Strategy to Execution is the work that tells you which one to start with and what has to be true before that build can succeed. Data readiness, knowledge quality, integration coverage and the access model are pre-conditions of the project rather than preparation for it, which is why this engagement runs first and then hands a scoped, sequenced brief to whichever offering comes next.

It is the pre-requisite for each build, and the brief that scopes it:

corex-ai-moveworks-1251847

Effortless Employee Service

Moveworks and EmployeeWorks provide the single AI front door. The blueprint settles knowledge shape, catalog ingestibility, connectors and permissions before that front door is stood up.

Customer Service Desk

Digital Workforce

Autonomous agents, L1 specialists and AI Agent Studio depend on ranked workflows and trustworthy data. The blueprint confirms both, and establishes whether your tier permits building net-new agents at all.

corex-ai-control-tower

Governed AI at Scale

AI Control Tower and IRM operationalize the inventory, decision rights and control framework that this engagement establishes, across ServiceNow and the AI built outside it.

CoreX AI Horizon Value That Compounds CoreXtend

Value that Compounds

CoreXtend managed AI operations attaches to whatever goes live and reports monthly against the baseline agreed in this blueprint, so benefits are tracked rather than re-litigated at the end.

Platform-Agnostic First, ServiceNow-Deep in Delivery

The strategy and architecture work assesses what you own and what the business needs before recommending where the work should land. Delivery is where our depth on the ServiceNow AI Platform matters most.

Choosing an enterprise AI strategy consulting partner

We establish the foundations before we build the AI.

Plenty of firms will sell you an AI strategy, and fewer will still be accountable for it when the architecture meets a real integration, a real permission model and a real budget cycle. CoreX writes the blueprint and then delivers against it, which keeps the recommendations honest because we are the ones who have to build them.

How CoreX delivers impact:

We De-Risk the Program Rather Than Installing Software
Skill discovery and a readiness score for knowledge, catalog, forms and connectors come with explicit decisions about what the AI may access, all settled before the build rather than during it.
We Read Your Entitlements Before Your Wish List
Licensing, tier and consumption analysis is part of the assessment, so the first recommendation is often to switch on something you already own rather than to buy something new.
We Stay On as Design Authority
We hold architecture ownership across every workstream once delivery begins, so parallel tracks build on the same foundations instead of quietly diverging from the plan that was funded.
We Govern the Whole AI Estate
AI Control Tower on ServiceNow with hyperscaler discovery connectors, AI risk automation, and NIST AI RMF and EU AI Act alignment, designed in the same pass as the architecture.
We Run What We Recommend
CoreX is deploying ServiceNow’s AI front door across its own organization, and was among the first partners to complete the Moveworks Partner Acceleration Program.
