Written by Rick Wright | 9/25/24

Today marks an exciting milestone for CoreX as we announce our definitive agreement to acquire ITS Partners, a company renowned for its expertise in Operational Technology (OT), IT Operations Management (ITOM), and IT Asset Management (ITAM) within the ServiceNow ecosystem.

To gain insight into what this means for both teams and our customers, we sat down with CoreX CEO, Rick Wright, to discuss the strategic alignment of this acquisition and how it will enhance our ability to deliver value-based solutions to complex business challenges. In this conversation, Rick shares his enthusiasm for the partnership and outlines what the near future looks like for CoreX.

Q: What gets you excited about the ITS Partners Team’s capabilities, specifically their expertise in OT, ITOM, and ITAM?

A: As there are many ServiceNow Partners, being successful within the ServiceNow ecosystem requires a strong brand and ITS has that in spades.  Ask anyone within the OT product space or in the manufacturing sector at ServiceNow, or anyone in the Customer Outcomes organization and ITS is one of the first names that comes up in the conversation.  ITS is known for in-depth industry knowledge and industry-wide thought leadership in the area of OT and ITAM.

Q : How does that align with overall ServiceNow strategy, as you see it?

A :At CoreX our strategy is to help customers extract value from their core operational processes through value-based initiatives leveraging the ServiceNow platform.  ITS’ GTM & thought leadership approach aligns perfectly with CoreX.  Together we will provide our customers with a broader array of expertise and functional knowledge to solve their complex business challenges.

Q : Any messages to the ITS Partner team?

A : You are awesome! You do great work and your CSAT score reflects that.  We are at the beginning of this journey which will provide enormous opportunities for everyone as we scale the business

Q : Any messages to ITS Partners customers?

A :Together we can provide a broader array of expertise and functional knowledge to solve your complex business challenges

Q : You’ve been on the road a lot – at NASCES and in the ServiceNow offices, what’s next for CoreX?

A : Organic and inorganic growth is still our strategy. In terms of inorganic, we will be continuing to look for amazing ServiceNow boutiques from across the globe with clear differentiators in the market to join our team. For organic, we are continuing to invest in the business; finding world-class sales talent, investing in our delivery team (training and adding talent to the team), and building out our core platform operations teams that can scale the business and keep up to the hyper-growth targets we have in place.

Our offering strategy includes continuing to invest in our Core Business of Finance, Procurement, and Supply Chain as well as the ITS portfolio of ITAM, EAM, and OT.  Consistently, we plan to co-invest with ServiceNow in events, webinars, customer lunch-n-learns, and helping ServiceNow build its brand in core operations.

Look out for our upcoming back-office blueprint offering launch! ITS helps us round out the expertise needed to successfully deliver a broad set of industry-tailored solutions for our customers.

We’re looking forward to attending ServiceNow’s Dallas World Forum (October 8th), and New York World Forum (November 7th). I’m excited to see our Customers, ServiceNow, and anyone interested in hearing how we can help you think about your core operations transformation programs or those wanting to join the Core platform.

As CoreX and ITS Partners come together, the opportunities for innovation and customer impact are limitless. With a shared focus on leveraging ServiceNow to drive operational excellence, this partnership strengthens our ability to provide industry-leading solutions.
