A global home appliance manufacturer operating production sites across Europe, North America, and Latin America engaged CoreX to transition from a scattered, manual approach to operational technology asset management toward a centralized, automated OT Configuration Management Database in ServiceNow.
The objective was to establish a single source of truth for OT assets across Purdue Levels 1 through 5, with Nozomi Vantage as the primary telemetry source and ServiceNow as the system of record.
Like many global manufacturers, the company managed operational technology assets through local spreadsheets and manual processes that varied site to site. This fragmented approach made it difficult to maintain an accurate, complete inventory of plant assets, limited visibility across the global manufacturing network, and created risk in environments where production uptime is critical.
The organization set three primary objectives. First, transparency: a complete, automated inventory of OT assets across global sites, removing dependence on local spreadsheets.
Second, governance: a federated model that empowers site engineers locally while enforcing centralized security and audit standards.
Third, security readiness: a data foundation robust enough to support future Vulnerability Response, enabling rapid detection and mitigation of production risks. Delivering this required connecting plant-floor operations to enterprise systems without disrupting production.
CoreX delivered an OT Visibility implementation built on ServiceNow Operational Technology Management, with Nozomi Vantage as the telemetry provider and ServiceNow as the system of record. As the designer and maintainer of the Service Graph Connector for Nozomi Vantage, CoreX brought direct technical ownership of the integration at the center of the engagement.
The work was delivered through CoreX's OT Ignite methodology across four phases: initiate and mobilize, plan and design, execute and build, and deliver and enable, targeting Initial Operating Capability within 12 weeks across three pilot sites in Europe, North America, and Latin America.
The solution established the core OT foundation in ServiceNow, activating the Operational Technology Manager and Industrial Process Manager plugins and extending the CMDB with OT-specific hardware classes such as PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and drives.
CoreX modeled the environment to the ISA-95 standard, building a Purdue-aligned hierarchy from Enterprise down through Site, Area, Production Line, and Work Cell, and used subnet mapping to assign newly discovered devices to the correct place in the hierarchy automatically.

CoreX delivered the engagement with role-based training for administrators and site users, user acceptance testing to confirm that digital records matched physical assets, and a formal handover to central administration at go-live.

The company is expected to gain a complete, automated OT asset inventory across its three pilot sites, replacing local spreadsheets with a single source of truth in ServiceNow modeled to the ISA-95 standard.
The federated governance model is expected to balance local autonomy with centralized control, giving site engineers ownership of asset content while the central team enforces structure, security, and audit standards. By preparing vulnerability data from Nozomi and establishing a robust, well-governed data foundation, the engagement is expected to position the company for future OT Vulnerability Response and for a global rollout beyond the initial pilot sites.
